Over the years I have been involved with the modeling and simulation of:

  • Planetary system development;
  • Satellite orbit stability;
  • Ground and space-based sensors;
  • Missile flight; etc.

Yes, in the real world I have even spent some time as a rocket scientist!

For the past 30 years, I have divided my time between developing new technologies and mentoring the junior staff for companies and corporations of different sizes.

Those that I have assisted and worked with will assert that I am a master at decomposing the most challenging problems in a way that is easy to understand.

Having taught at the High School and College levels for a few years, I am aware that the successful tutor will:

Make the subject matter interesting by promoting a dynamic exchange;
Highlight the compartmentalized elements of the ‘complex’ problem space – always;
Work with the student[s] through the components of the problem space – as necessary.

  • As your tutor, prior to each lesson, I will review the subject area’s content that you would like to improve your understanding of.
    • No cost to you!
  • At the start of the lesson:
    • I will discuss the key concepts,
    • Provide a number of illustrations that highlight these concepts, and
    • Ensure that you grasp these concepts by working through a handful of related problems together.
  • The problems will naturally incorporate operations and/or equations you should be familiar with.
  • Problems may be designed to reinforce key concepts from earlier related lessons when it is sensible to do so.
  • During each lesson, I’ll work with you to transform the seemingly complex into a proper series of questions where the answers are within reach.
  • In doing so, the subject matter will be more than just a series of formulae to memorize, it will transform itself into a purposeful machine!…  A machine that will propel you learn more about what opportunities might await around the next corner.
